Una presentación realizada en el Estadio Santiago Bernabéu con motivo de la inminente celebración de Madrid Games Week ha servido como escenario para este importante anuncio, una apuesta estratégica de SCEE por el e-sports, que busca “democratizar las competiciones multijugador y acercarlas a todo tipo de jugadores, tanto principiantes como expertos”, ha explicado la compañía.
La Liga Oficial PlayStation, que verá la luz el próximo 16 de octubre coincidiendo con el inicio de la feria de videojuegos más importante del país, contará con el apoyo de las compañías más importantes de la industria y pondrá en liza competiciones de los títulos más populares de la nueva generación.
De esta forma, los jugadores que se inscriban podrán disfrutar de torneos en FIFA 15, Battlefield 4, Call of Duty Ghosts y War Thunder, un catálogo al que se irán añadiendo progresivamente otros títulos como Driveclub, NBA 2K15, Battlefield HardLine o Invokers Tournament entre muchos otros.
Cualquier jugador de PlayStation 4 con una cuenta de PlayStation Plus podrá inscribirse en la Liga de manera totalmente gratuita, y comenzar a disputar partidas con jugadores de su nivel. La Liga ofrecerá premios a los jugadores en las competiciones en los que se inscriban, como puntos en la plataforma o saldo PlayStation Network para adquirir productos exclusivos, entre otras cosas.
Por otra parte, PlayStation pretende que la Liga sirva “como punto de encuentro para jugadores, donde podrán interactuar con amigos, compartir sus logros en sus redes sociales, y formar parte de una comunidad en torno a sus títulos favoritos”.
La PlayStation Arena de Madrid Games Week servirá como pistoletazo de salida a la Liga Oficial PlayStation, y todos los jugadores que participen en los diferentes torneos que allí se disputarán recibirán puntos para subir de nivel en la plataforma; los ganadores de los mismos se alzarán, además de con premios, con los primeros trofeos que les acreditarán en la Liga como vencedores de las competiciones de la feria.
Todos los jugadores que quieran participar pueden incribirse en la Liga Oficial PlayStation a partir del 16 de octubre en la web www.ligaplaystation.com.
