Esta campaña cuenta con la participación de los videoblogueros JPelirrojo y Curricé, quienes viajaron recientemente al norte de Ghana para conocer la realidad de una de las zonas más pobres de este país africano.
“Quedamos realmente impactados ante la pobreza que se vive en esas zonas y lo mucho que hacen ONG como World Vision por ayudar a estos niños. Por esto, cuando Grinbuzz.com nos propuso unirnos a la primera semana de la solidaridad on line para apadrinar niños viendo anuncios, no dudamos en hacerlo”, explica Jpelirrojo.
En su viaje a Ghana, los jóvenes videoblogueros o youtubers, grabaron imágenes con las que elaboraron el vídeoclip de la canción ‘Una oportunidad’, que ellos mismos compusieron y que donan a esta campaña. Se unirán también a ellos otros 14 videoblogueros para apoyar la iniciativa.
“Utilizaremos nuestros vlogs en Youtube, que en total suman 1,4 millones de suscriptores, para lanzar el vídeoclip y pedir a nuestros seguidores que durante la semana solidaria entre en www.grinbuzz.com, se inscriban y comiencen a ver anuncios. Cuantas más personas se unan, más niños se podrán apadrinar”, añade Jpelirrojo.
Por su parte, el director de Grinbuzz.com, Marcelo Rodríguez, ha detallado que, “además de los videoblogueros que ya se han sumado a campaña, esperamos que muchos más que ven su canal de Youtube, se unan de forma espontánea y entre todos logremos la meta de llevar ayuda a las comunidades más pobres a través del apadrinamiento de 100 niños”.
Rodríguez ha indicado que “en España hay una larga tradición de galas solidarias en televisión e incluso en radio, pero nunca se ha aprovechado el alcance de Internet para realizar este formato de ayuda, menos aún a través de una forma de solidaridad en la que no pedimos donativos en dinero o especie, sólo hay que ver anuncios en Internet para ayudarnos a cumplir la meta de apadrinar 100 niños en una semana”.
Para la directora de World Vision España, Marisa García-Tablado, “estamos convencidos que Internet permite ser solidario de formas hasta ahora desconocidas, pero que son tan efectivas como las tradicionales. Debido a la crisis, ahora hay personas que no pueden asumir ahora el donativo mensual de un apadrinamiento, pero sí que pueden llevar ayuda a muchos niños a través de la propuesta de Grinbuzz”.
Desde que se lanzó Grinbuzz.com, ya se han apadrinado 25 niños gracias a 35 empresas que han confiado en este proyecto y se anuncian en esta web, así como a las 17.000 personas registradas que conforman la comunidad de padrinos y madrinas de este proyecto, según indica la compañía.
